Google Mapping the Grand Canyon

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a great vacation!

Today, As I was scanning the web, for something interesting to blog about, I found this story about how Google is mapping The Grand Canyon.

It's a fun read with some interesting photos of a new Google mapping camera system called the Trekker.  The Trekker is a wearable backpack with a camera system on top.  It's capable of taking 360 degree images of the surrounding area.

Is it just me or do the guys in the above photo look like they are exploring a new planet:)
